After years of trial and error, I found the formula for real estate success without the usual headaches. As a former landscaper turned successful investor, I leveraged my drive, determination, and knowledge to enter a new market.  Instead of managing properties, I focused on strategic investments that brought in passive income streams and massive returns. By embracing technology, analyzing market trends, and building a solid network of professionals, I unlocked the secret to real estate success.

In 1996, I hung up my landscaping hat and opened my investment firm Pinnacle Investments. Under my expert guidance, Pinnacle Investments has grown to be the nation’s leader in the purchase of first lien performing and non-performing real estate notes, completing over 22,000 transactions since its inception. 

In 2007, I built Wall Street’s first distressed asset fund, which I managed before selling my interest to a Wall Street Capital Group. During my tenure, the fund earned a strong internal rate of return and helped thousands of people stay in their homes due to loan restructuring under my guidance. Since then, I have founded two other private equity firms. 

In 2018, I wrote the best-selling book, “The Power of Paper,” sharing my knowledge and experiences with others in the industry. I have been recognized as one of the industry’s top investment professionals and I am often asked to speak at financial conferences and companies such as Harvard University, Investor Wealth, NASDAQ, The New York Harvard Club, One World Trade Center, The New York Stock Exchange, Note Expo, The Miami REIA and The Boston REIA.  

Beyond my professional endeavors, my wife and I are passionate about making a difference. We are actively involved in mission work, currently supporting the construction of a Women’s Shelter and Community Center in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. 

Today my wife and I continue to run Pinnacle Investments as well as our other investment companies together with the mutual goal of impacting as many lives as they can and helping them to life out their “Life by Design.”
